What are the different grades of replicas?

First and foremost, as we are dealing with replica items, I thought that maybe you would be interested about the different grades of replicas available in the market currently.

Education about Replicas

This pyramid shows the grade of replicas, with the best being AUTHENTIC GRADE, the next best being 1:1 replicas, followed by AAAA, AAA, AA, and A items.

Hence, the price for replicas can also vary very widely according to which grade you buy.

Moving on to elaborate about our bags, or really bags in general:

1. The material used

If you do buy / ask about luxury items, the actual material can range from different types of leather, canvas, and even PVC depending on the brand. Authentic grade replicas use the EXACT type of materials as the originals.

On the other hand, lower grade items may use the same type of materials but of lower quality, or synthetic material, or maybe a combination of both. Of course that depends on whether you are talking about 1:1 or AA items.

2. Craftmanship

So, the stiching on real and original luxury brand items must definitely be flawless, right? Original luxury items may actually sport some ‘what we think are flaws’ in the sewing USUALLY at the ends where the handles of the bag are attached to the body. Eg: repeat / overlapping sewing.

This in fact actually means that each item is HANDMADE, and each bag is different and ONE OF A KIND. This is what you can also see in Authentic Grade items, the flagship of a well made, handmade bag.

But of course, the sewing of most of bag should remain small, neat, straight, evenly spaced, beautiful, and strong. How else can luxury brands make money if you see threads popping out of the bag right?? XD

3. Available colors of the bag

Each luxury brand may only have a specific number of colors available for THAT bag. Of course, we only get bags with the same colors, so no worries! ^^

The safest bet I think so far is –> Classic and Mysterious Black

With that being said, Prada showcases the hugest amount of colors for each bag that I’ve liked so far. So much to choose from XD
